Model History

“This is a Roll’s Royce… with attitude.”

With fewer than 250 standard V550s built, this example finished in Buckinghamshire Green perfectly showcases the craftsmanship of Newport Pagnell at the time.

Built from 1993 to 1999, it carries the ‘V8 Vantage’ to signify that this is a car that was built to be driven. With speeds approaching 200mph and a 0-60mph of 4.6 seconds, the experience of a V550 at full throttle is enough to get anyone’s heart racing.

No car of the 1990s could propel its occupants with such speed and in such opulent comfort as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550.

Pound for pound then, the V550 was a pure supercar in a large coupe body – in terms of output, it was the most powerful car of its day thanks to its twin supercharged 5340cc V8 engine.

The massive 362 mm diameter ventilated discs and four-piston AP Racing callipers fitted to the front of the Vantage were the largest fitted to any road car at the time. They are colossal, but necessary, as they have their work cut out for them stopping a car that weighs 1990 kg.

Exterior

Finished in Buckinghamshire Green, arguably the most impressive and imposing colour for the V550, very well looked after and serviced, this example is presented in fantastic condition.

Interior

The Parchment Passepoils Dark Green interior perfectly complements the Buckinghamshire Green paint. The car is in great condition, and more importantly all the electronics work – as you would expect of a car with only 36,000 km’s on the clock.

Trunk and Engine Bay

This lovely example still retains all the factory equipment and accessories. We are pleased to report the engine runs smoothly and without fault.

Wheels

All four of the 5-spoke alloys are in good condition.
